So sorry to hear of Jerry's passing. I knew from past notices from our class secretary that Jerry had some serious health issues but we had always hoped for the best. Jerry was a good man and I enjoyed his company very much. We played on the Greenfield High School varsity football team and I thoroughly enjoyed his tremendous effort as a starting tackle for the team. He also constantly displayed a positive outlook and a great sense of humor. I can remember one occasion when we were playing Plainfield and on the way back to Greenfield, we stopped at a White Castle in Indianapolis and Jerry ordered 12 White Castle burgers! I was shocked by the size of the bag of food that he brought back to the bus but then, I knew it would not be a problem for him to make a quick meal out of them! He was a good friend and he will be sorely missed. My heart goes out to Daleen and their family.
