So many fond memories growing up in the same neighborhood when we were kids. Always remember several of us just hanging out and being kids playing outdoors and enjoying each others families. He is in a beautiful place now, with his mom and dad - just watching the rest of the world pass by. He will be greatly missed in the community. Blessings to the rest of the family at this difficult time.

Stephen was a regular at the Hoosiers Home Court Cafe where I ended up on a regular basis working with Kevin Richey on community projects. I think Stephen found a "family" there who were also regulars. He was quiet but usually has some stories to tell once someone got him started. I will never forget when he turned my down to be my prom date. Bet, you didn't know that!

I will miss seeing him around town and will publish his passing in our next Class of 64 Senior Moments newsletter. We ask the family where the class can can a send a memoriam, perhaps a favorite organization that Stephen appreciated? Please email that information to:

In any case, living within two blocks of each other, you girls and Stephen are well ensconced in my memory. Please know that many people, more than you know, will miss Stephan.
