Obituary for Norma Jean Shaw

Norma Jean  Shaw
Norma Jean Shaw, 75, a Knightstown resident passed away Saturday, October 5, 2013 at her home. She was born to the late William McFarland and Verna Ann (Dawson) Estep on May 28, 1938 in Vinton Co, OH. She married her husband, Lowell Emmerson Shaw on September 15, 1956. She was a member of The Pilgrim Holiness Church in New Castle, IN. She loved yard sales and a clean house!
Norma will be greatly missed by her son, Earl (Mary) Shaw; a daughter, Nancy (Glenn) Tolle; four sisters; Mildred Eileen Pickell, Georgia Ann Huffer, Martha Marie Remy, Talitha May Nichols; two brothers, John Henry Estep and Richard Franklin Estep; 11 grandchildren, Rachel, Michael “Bouncer”, Nathan, Joey, Jr., Alaina, Sarah, Ryan, Tyler, Kimberly, and Shelby; and several great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Lowell; two sisters; Emma Alice Nichols and Ruth Ellen Underwood and a brother Liburn Estep. Services for Norma will be held at 2 PM Tuesday, October 8th at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown. Friends are welcome to visit from 1 PM until time of service. Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Carthage with Brother Donald Raines presiding. Memorial contributions may be made to The Pilgrim Holiness Church or Hancock Regional Hospice Group.
