Audrey I. Magee, 91, of Carthage, passed away in Greenfield on August 11, 2013. She was born in Hagerstown, IN on July 17, 1922 to the late Raymond and Jeannette (Dale) Dumford. She worked at the Carthage Elevator for several years as a bookkeeper.
She will be greatly missed by 4 daughters, Jacqueline S Magee, Cheryl E. (Robert) Cole, Marsha L. (Michael) Gorman, Deborah J. (Joe) Martin; son, Ronald W. Magee; 2 brothers, Omar Dumford and Herbert Dumford; and a sister, Marjorie Cook.
Audrey was preceded in death by her parents and loving husband, William; several brothers and sisters, a granddaughter and 2 great-grandsons.
Services for Audrey will be held Friday, August 16, 2013 at 1pm at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown; friends may call from 4-7PM Thursday, August 15 at the funeral home. Burial will follow at Riverside Cemetery in Carthage with Roger Campbell presiding.
