Obituary for Robin Ann Lapham

Robin Ann Lapham, 63, of Knightstown, Indiana, passed away unexpectedly on the evening of Tuesday, September 10, 2019 at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on April 9, 1956 in Indianapolis, a daughter of the late Gerald L. and Alice Ann (Robbins) Vermillion.

Robin was a 1974 graduate of Lawrence Central High School in Indianapolis. She worked for 30 years in Veterinary Medicine with Dr. John Hunt and had also worked at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown since 2012. Robin loved sunshine, her plants, her garden, and her pets along with being outdoors, fishing, kayaking, and mushroom hunting with her best friend and partner of 30 years, Mike Pike. Most of all, she loved being ‘Mimi” to her three grandchildren, Carter, Mavis, and Keera.

Those left to cherish Robin’s memory include her partner, Mike Pike; two daughters, Ashley (Rick) Lapham-Sanders of Middletown and Amy Lapham (Dustin Reed) of Fishers and three grandchildren, Carter, Mavis, and Keera.

In addition to her parents, Robin was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Vermillion.

A service to honor Robin’s memory will be held at 3:00 pm Sunday, September 22, 2019 at Heritage Funeral Care.
