Regina Fitzgerald, 53 of Carthage, IN passed on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 surrounded by her loving family. “Gina” was born on September 7, 1962 in Homestead, FL to the late Charles and Winona (Williams) Pettypiece. She married James “Jimmy” Victor Fitzgerald on July 21, 1979. Gina made her home and family her career. She spent her days caring for those she loved. She was the strongest, bravest women her family has ever known, and her family will forever miss her infectious laughter, bright smile and cocked eyebrow.
She will be greatly missed by her husband, Jimmy and all her children James Lee Fitzgerald, Matthew Victor Fitzgerald, Jeremy Green, Faith Ann Green, Samantha Fitzgerald and Amber Fitzgerald, 2 sisters Linda Williams and Nena Maak, 5 grandchildren; Jeremy 2, Abby, Xavier, Ashtyn and Bailee.
In addition to her parents Gina was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Charles “Dale” Pettypiece and Michael Pettypiece.
Services for Gina will be held Friday, April 8, 2016 at 12PM at HERITAGE FUNERAL CARE in Knightstown. Friends may visit on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 4PM-8PM at the funeral home. Burial will be in Carthage Town Cemetery with Chaplain Toby Smith to preside. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to families GoFundMe account.
