Obituary for Loretta Lynn Hammond
Loretta Lynn Hammond, 55, of Rushville, passed away on Thursday, March 4, 2021 at Rush Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born on January 18, 1966 in Connersville, Indiana, a daughter of the late Diana Hammond.
Loretta was a kind-hearted lady and loved to help people. She was also a hard worker and served for several years in Housekeeping at Miller’s Merry Manor. Loretta enjoyed watching wrestling and had the opportunity to meet Roman Reigns. She also enjoyed watching SpongeBob with her grandchildren and spending everyday with them.
Those left to cherish her memory include her daughters: Linda (husband: Kelly) Ross, Jean (husband: David) Noble, Sue Hammond (fiancé: Gilberto Arocs) and step-son, Matthew (wife: Sondra) Monroe; grandchildren, Jasmine, Kaden, Dominic, Isaiah, Hannah, Raelynn, Gavin and Brynlee and numerous extended family.
Loretta was preceded in death by her mother, Diana Hammond, and sister, Misty Hammond.
Memorial contributions may be made to Heritage Funeral Care to assist the family with expenses.
A service to celebrate Loretta’s life will be held at 3 pm, Wednesday, March 10, 2021 at Heritage Funeral Care, 34 W. Main Street, Knightstown, IN 46148.
Friends may visit from 1 – 3 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
