Obituary for Linda Gail Ross (Rich)

Linda Gail Ross, 67, went to be with her Heavenly Father on October 30, 2023 in her family’s home surrounded by loved ones.

She was born on January 6, 1956 in Rutherford County, TN and raised in Indianapolis, IN, a daughter of the late Jake “JC” Rich and Marie Rich.

Linda attended Manual High School and graduated in 1974. She was a member of Knightstown Church of God and worked for several years at Hancock Memorial Hospital. Linda spent her life as a loving, devoted, wife and mother and loved her family with all her heart and soul. She also loved the Lord and had a great zest for life, laughter and all things beautiful. Linda will be dearly missed and never forgotten.

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband of 43 years, Gary Ross; children, Tammy (Brandon) Duvall and Jennifer Cupp; step-daughter, Amy Ross; grandchildren, Aidan Duvall and Abraham Duvall; sister Hazel (Sonnie) Barnes; sister-in-law, Charlotte Rich; nieces, Lisa McKim and Patricia (Joe) Priest; nephews, Terry McKim and Glenn McKim as well as several great-nieces and nephews and many beloved cousins and extended family members.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her grandparents, Lillie Smith, Hermon Rich, Charlie Jones and Willie Mae Jones and a brother, James Edward Rich.

Friends may call from 1 – 4 pm Wednesday, November 1, 2023 at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown.

Funeral services will be held at 4:00 pm following the visitation at the funeral home with Pastor Rick Evans officiating.
