Obituary for Judith Carole Brobeck Pate
Judith Carole Brobeck Pate, of Nashville, passed away on the morning of her 83rd birthday, Monday, December 26, 2022. She was born on December 26, 1939 in Columbus, Ohio.
Judy was a 1957 graduate of Hilliard High School in Columbus, OH, and attended The Ohio State University. She was a former bookkeeper for Dairy Queen and Westinghouse and currently helped Patrick operate Pate Trucking. She was a current member of Sprunica Baptist Church in Nashville, IN.
Those left to cherish her memory include the love of her life, Patrick Pate for the past 32 years. Together they lived most of that time in Bean Blossom, Indiana in Brown County. She is also survived by her children, David (Annette) Brobeck and Dodie (John) Allen; grandchildren, Shannen (Robert) Smale, Claire Allen and Madeline Allen.
Judy was preceded in death by her parents, Daniel and Dora (Cole) Bates; a sister, Patricia; three brothers, Thomas, Jack and Robert and her former spouse, Gene Brobeck.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, December 30, 2022 at Heritage Funeral Care, 34 W. Main Street, Knightstown, IN 46148. Burial will follow at Circle Grove Cemetery in Spiceland, IN.
Friends may call from 12 – 2 pm, prior to the service on Friday.
