Obituary for Harry Lee Richmond
Harry “Fuzz” Lee Richmond, 79, of Carthage passed away on Sunday, February 6, 2022 at Decatur County Memorial Hospital in Greensburg, IN.
He was born on December 18, 1942 in Rush County, a son of the late Cecil and Bessie Richmond.
Harry worked at the Carthage Paper Mill, IDOT and retired from Roll Coater. He was currently working for CAB School Corp as custodian. Harry loved God and his family. He was married to Patricia Kay Gibson on May 2, 1963. Harry enjoyed horseback riding, fishing, animals and working at the schools with all the kids was the highlight of his day.
Those left to cherish his memory include a son, Kevin (Shirley) Richmond; grandchildren, Carrie (Tyler) Ross, Brandie Ross and Terry Ross; great-grandchildren, Angel, Adriyanna, Jaelynn, Wyatt, Landon, Skyler, Jase and Henleigh; brothers, George (Martha) Richmond, Cecil (Betty) Richmond Jr. and Jim Richmond; sisters, Shirley Richmond, Stella Beasley and many nieces, nephews and friends.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Patricia Richmond; brother, Gene Richmond and sisters, Mattie Lynch and Erma Heylmann.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am, Friday, February 11, 2022 at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery.
