Obituary for Gary M. Bousman
Gary M. Bousman, 72, of Carthage lost his battle with cancer on Saturday, January 16, 2021 at Community Hospital East in Indianapolis.
He was born on December 19, 1948 in Indianapolis, a son of the late Jesse Bousman and Carolyn (Ed) Hepp.
Gary enjoyed making things with his hands and was an excellent Drywaller for many years, a skill that he passed down to his sons. He also enjoyed collecting signs, watching Nascar races and old western shows. Most importantly, Gary loved spending time with his family and especially attending family reunions.
Those left to cherish his memory include his wife, Marlena Bousman; daughters, Carolyn (Jay) Sinclair, Georgianna (Alan) Payne and Sarah Bousman; sons, David Bousman, Donnie Bousman and Jason (Krystal) Bousman; a brother; Bobby (Shirley) Bousman; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sisters, Ellen Bousman, Margie Saunders and Terri Buckler; brothers, Teddy Bousman and Stevie Bousman.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to assist the family with expenses.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown. Burial will follow at Glen Cove Cemetery.
Friends may call from 12 – 2 pm prior to the service at the funeral home.
