Obituary for Alveda Fern Whisler
Alveda Fern Whisler, 84, of Wilkinson passed away on the afternoon of Monday, May 27, 2019 at Ambassador Healthcare in Centerville.
She was born on May 18, 1935 in Henry County, IN, a daughter of the late Howard and Credeth (Smith) Harris.
Alveda enjoyed crocheting, knitting and spending time at home with her husband, Dale Whisler and children.
Those left to cherish her memory include her four children, Marilyn Brock of Camden, OH, Jalaine Hanneken of Anderson, IN, Duane Whisler of Anderson and Keith Whisler of Kentucky; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; two sisters, Ellen Smith of Markleville and Freda (husband: John) Good of Florida and a brother, Howard Manford (wife: Jackie) Harris of Middletown.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dale Whisler and sister, Lavonne Stall.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 pm, Friday, May 31, 2019 at Heritage Funeral Care in Knightstown. Burial will follow at McCray Cemetery in Wilkinson.
